Police were called to Greek Street, off London Road to deal with a naked woman in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The 32-year-old woman was tasered by police after brandishing a knife, but thankfully only destroyed tyres outside the student accommodation. She also allegedly knocked off wing mirrors in the parked cars.
The woman then allegedly started attempting to attack the police officers, so they had to resort to the taser.
She was then taken to hospital for medical assessment.

As a local student who lives in the student accommodation in question, this is quite a scary thought. It adds in a sense of fear considering our valuables could be damaged through no fault of our own! Personally I think the local council should coincide with the student accommodation to provide a safer car parking area.
The poor woman clearly wasn’t well. I hope she gets the help she needs
